The fresh meat and fish is then transported to our kitchens in refrigerated lorries to maintain the highest levels of freshness 

The animal material is transported in non refrigerated lorries at ambient temperatures which enables the growth of pathogenic microbes and allows the fat to become rancid

When the fresh food arrives at our kitchen it undergoes rigorous  quality testing before being passed as suitable to be used in our recipes 

The animal material arrives at the rendering plant where it is processed at extremely high temperatures to kill off the pathogens

The careful sourcing and handling of our raw materials enables the food to be safely cooked at low temperatures which is very important for the preservation of all the nutrients and flavour. Our method also ensures that the very important proteins are protected ensuring its increased bio~availability to our beloved pets

The rendered dry powdered meat meal contains denatured protein due to the high temperature processing and is consequently harder to digest and of low nutritional value.
